Michael Cartwright is stepping down as CEO of AAC Holdings Inc., according to a news release, to be replaced by Chief Operating Officer Andrew McWilliams. While there was no reason given for the change, the move will allow Cartwright to devote his full attention to his role as chairman of the Brentwood-based company’s board, where he will focus on strategic planning and growing the company. Cartwright has been chairman of AAC, the parent company of American Addiction Centers, since 2011.
