Today, the Board of Directors of The First Bancorp (Nasdaq: FNLC), parent company of First National Bank, approved procedures and announced that the 2020 annual meeting of shareholders will be held virtually beginning at 11:00 a.m., Eastern time, on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Tony C. McKim, President and CEO, noted that "In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, for the safety of all concerned, including our shareholders, and taking into account recent federal, state and local guidance that has been issued, we have determined that the 2020 Annual Meeting will be held in a virtual meeting format only, via the Internet, with no physical in-person meeting."
