There's at least one form of public entertainment that may be safe during the coronavirus outbreak: drive-in movie theaters. Eustis native Spencer Folmar — CEO of Hollywood, California-based filmmaker Veritas Inc. — has proposed building a five-screen, drive-in movie theater with restaurants, concessions and other entertainment in the northwest Central Florida city of Eustis. Plans moved ahead March 12 when the Eustis City Commission approved selling 71.4 acres for the proposed project to Folmar's Apopka-based SpenceTF LLC for $460,000.
