New York City-based grocer Fairway Market officially denied a New York Post report stating that the company was planning to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and close all of its stores. The company said that all 14 of its stores will remain open more than three years after the company first filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2016, which allowed it to continue as a going concern.

On March 25, 2020, Village Super Market, Inc.
